Create your account and pay. You then go straight to the upload page to add your raw DNA file right away. If your file is on another device like your laptop, use the secure link we email you to open it there and upload.

Complete checkout through Stripe. This is an analysis service for a DNA test you already took; no new test kit is shipped.

The science behind G25

How your raw DNA becomes an ancestry report

AncestralGenome processes your raw genotype file into a 25-dimensional PCA coordinate profile and uses it in separate analyses. Closest Populations compares the profile with modern and ancient reference samples using Euclidean distance. Hunter-Gatherer & Farmer and Periodical Breakdown use carefully selected regional and historical source panels to model the profile for each period.

A standard DNA test estimates recent ancestry using present-day reference populations. AncestralGenome uses your genetic profile to build separate models with ancient references from the Hunter-Gatherer & Farmer period through the Medieval period.

Raw DNA report FAQ

Is a DNA test kit included?
No. AncestralGenome is a third-party analysis service. You need an existing raw DNA file from a supported testing provider; no saliva kit or physical product is sent.
Can I buy on my phone and upload from my laptop?
Yes. Create your account during checkout, then use the personal upload link in your email or open the paid order from My Kits on another device.
Which file should I upload?
Upload the original raw DNA download from your provider as a ZIP or GZIP archive. Do not convert it to a PDF, screenshot or spreadsheet.
Which DNA companies are supported?
The upload flow supports raw files from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, FamilyTreeDNA, MyHeritage, Living DNA and TellMeGen.
How long does processing take?
After your file has been uploaded successfully, raw DNA reports are normally delivered within 24–72 hours.
What does the report include?
Your report includes Hunter-Gatherer & Farmer results, historical period breakdowns, closest modern and ancient populations, maps and PCA views.
I already have scaled G25 coordinates. Do I still need to upload raw DNA?
No. Use the G25 Upload product instead and paste your existing 25 scaled coordinates directly.
Can I request deletion of my data?
Yes. Data requests are handled according to the Privacy Policy, subject to any records that must be retained for legal or payment obligations.
